Our fascist fathers,
whose art is mayhem,
how will our country ever be the same?
what you have done
must be undone
for the earth to support her children.
you've enslaved men, their family's bread
held hostage to support your excesses,
and you forget what you chose
left millions helpless in dust.
Lead us not into desolation;
lead us nowhere,
for your time is done
the pain and the horror
returning never, finally
Our fascist fathers,
You can see by the outside that the inside is clear
though you cower from the truth of it when It comes near
the Refection is often hidden on the outside of the glass
judgments overshadowed by race creed and class
mind illuminating dancers sway; bright
we pop pills to cure the insight &
numb the Mind with ignorance that possessions rule the world
Hungry men devour the spirit that is yours &
sell our souls like whores to
the corporate who enslave and yet are so spiritually poor
This is the first festy like this i've been to in the northwest trying to promote this stuff. This is Brundage Mountain Jam's second year. It was supposed to be in the 5,000 person range but due to unfortunate timing, the festival was held on the same weekend as 2 other Jam festivals in the same state, Idaho (yes they have more than cowboys and Mormons there). as a result attendance was more than a little disappointing.
This year Rothbury raged its first annual, (thats right they're doin' it again next year) Rothbury Festival in Michigan. I have to say that it was a great success and next year this festival, which incorporates a wide variety of music, arts, eco-friendly atmosphere as well as other forms of entertainment, (like an indoor water park), will blow up for sure!
Packs of stickers of all 10 of the GLK's
Listen to some cool music and Pizza T and myself ramble on incoherently about I don't know what!
He calls me up 20 minutes before the show just after I had BLAZED the fuck down, so I'm sounding a little lost. Also he said I created the Jesus is my Homeboy shirt, which I only wish were true. Actually i made a design called Jerry is my Homeboy that hasn't as of yet made it onto any t-shirts.
